Visit the barns, tents, and exhibits featuring Hunterdon County’s various 4-H clubs! 

Visit the rabbits and goats and enjoy story time with the animals. Don’t miss snuggle time with the sheep or painting a horseshoe in the horse barn. To find out more information about 4-H activities, check out the Fair Schedule.

4-H Dairy Den

Ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes are available for purchase at the Dairy Den. A portion of the proceeds are used by the club to fund educational trips and service projects.

Enjoy an ice cold beverage from the Jr. Leader Soda Truck. All proceeds are used towards their community service projects throughout the year.

Cow Barns (Dairy and Beef)

Stop by and pet dairy and beef cows. Watch as members wash and prep their animals for a show, which will be held in the show tent right next to the barn. You may see the dairy club members milking their animals or the beef club members demonstrate fitting their cows. Have you seen a cow go through an obstacle course or one dressed in a costume? Come in for your opportunity to see both.

Dog Tent

Come see the members and their dogs. Competitions in rally, agility and obedience. Lots of fun and games will be going on. Cool demos happening throughout the week

Goat Barn

Come join the Kick Butt Kids Goat Club for some great events this year at the fair! Our county goat show will be on Wednesday and the NJ state 4-H Goat show will be on Saturday. Check the schedule for story time with goats, the goat costume contest, the fastest milking contest, and the parade of breeds. Stop by and visit with a member in the goat barn, if you’re curious about 4-H or have questions.

Horse Barn

Come visit with the horses, ponies and miniature horses. Talk to the members or leaders on when to watch their performances and demonstrations.  Paint a horseshoe or participate in the horse barn scavenger hunt.

Livestock Ring

Check the schedule for livestock shows going on throughout the week. Looking for something fun to see? Don’t miss the 4-H Round Robin where 4-H clubs compete in teams to try and beat each other out for top bragging rights in showmanship. Additionally, new this year is the 4-H Animals Meet and Greet. Stop in to learn more about each 4-H project animal, and questions are encouraged!

Poultry, Rabbit, Small Animals, and Waterfowl Tent

Come see and touch a rabbit, guinea pig or chicken. Learn some fun facts about all of our animals. Vote for the chicken you think is the prettiest or fluffiest. Check the schedule to join us for story time with the bunnies. Watch as the eggs in the incubator hatch. Touch and hold the newly hatched baby chicks.

Ramsburg Building

The Ramsburg Building is open throughout the Fair. It showcases exhibits from the 4-H clubs in Hunterdon County. As well as 4-H projects including art, photography, horticulture, foods and nutrition and crafts. 4-H members regularly share hands-on projects throughout the fair.

Sheep Barn

Drop by the barn and see all the different breeds of sheep. Get some snuggle time with the sheep. Don’t miss the always popular sheep obstacle course and the sheep rodeo. Check the schedule for days and time.

Shooting Sports Tent

If you are in grade 4 and above, try your hand at archery or air rifle for the small fee of $5. A parent or guardian’s signature is required on the waiver before participating.
